Activities
The People's History Museum is the national museum of democracy. We are the only museum dedicated to telling the story of the development of democracy in Britain. We engage, inspire and inform all audiences by showing that 'there have always been ideas worth fighting for'.
Objects: (A) The Advancement Of Education Learning And Knowledge By The Provision And Maintenance Of A Museum For The Public Exhibition And Display Of Documents Books Photographs And Any Other Items Of Visual History Relating To All Aspects Of The History Of The Trade Union And Labour Movements Insofar As They Are Part Of The Social Cultural History Of Great Britain And To Promote Research Into And The Collection And Preservation Of Items Which Relate Thereto.(b) Such Other Charitable Purpose Or Purposes Or Charitable Institution Or Charitable Institutions Or Charitable Object Or Charitable Objects As The Board Of Management May Think Fit Or By Deed Appoint And Which In Their Absolute Discretion Shall Be Conducive To The Attainment Of The Above Objects Or May Be Connected Therewith Or Have Some Affinity Of Purpose Therewith Or May( Whether So Connected Or Having Such Affinity Or Not) Conveniently Be Conducted Or Combined With The Objects Declared In The Foregoing Sub-Paragraph (A)
