**Objects:** A) TO PROMOTE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT WITHIN THE PARISH OF ALDWICK, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON THE CHARITY'S AMENITY KNOWN AS THE ALDWICK DUCK POND B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL

**Activities:** The Society is concerned with the maintenance and upkeep of the environment in the village with special emphasis on the Aldwick Duck Pond and it's immediate surroundings.  All planning applications within the Parish are monitored and comments made as appropriate.  Social functions are arranged both as a means of raising funds but also to contribute to the fostering of a community spirit.
