Activities

BASIL operates in the Guildford area of Surrey and supports the management team staffing The Surrey County Council (SCC) group homes at Mallow Crescent and associated properties. We are a group of parents, siblings and carers of People with a Learning Disabilities PwLD). We fund raise and lobby SCC re issues concerning the welfare of the PwLD.

Objects: To Promote The Welfare Of Persons With Learning Disabilities Who Are Resident (Temporarily Or Permanently) At 25-30 Mallow Crescent, Burpham, Guildford, Surrey, And At Any Further Establishments Whose Management Is The Responsibility Of Staff At Mallow Crescent, Burpham (Hereinafter Referred To As Residents). This Object Shall Be Achieved By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities Not Supplied By The Local Health Authority Or Social Services Department To Enlarge The Education, Recreation And Other Leisure Activities Of The Residents And For The Purpose Of Improving The Quality Of Life Of Those Persons.
