The Group pursues its obl￿tiVes through holding an annual o(bnlerence with ils Japanese counte￿arts, all8mal8ly
in Britain and Japan. As part ol the eonlerence programme. d8legal8s mcol with Ihe respective Piime Ministays and
attend further events and meetings hosted by governmenl r8prÈs8ntalives and other b(￿les. Followillg each
conforonco, tho Brilish Co-chairman Sub￿￿1$ to the British Prime Minister rècornm8ndations formulated by thè Group
at the ¢oF)leren¢e, F)otably on ways in which ctsoperation and collaboration bglween the countries might be
enhanced.
The Executive Director mainlains regular contact with relevant UK.Japan bothes throughout the year lo ensure Ihat
any oulslanding ESSUQS in tho bilalgral rglalionship are athressed by the G¥oup. Conference feedback is

In addition. the Group periodicalty organises and has invotvement in public seminars and m881ings that address

Inteinalional Exchange and circulated to the wider membership ol the Group.

sponsors and Ihe Forelgn and Commonwealth Office.
