Achievements Ynd Activities
Our autumn concert included Puccini ￿e￿a di Gloria and oth¢r 0￿ratiC excerpts. The Christmas
concert was a joyful (Kcasion. ￿rfO￿ned with the junior choir from Si Edward's Primary School. The
choir and audience soon wamed to thc Christmas carols and festive songs. The spring concert featured
Mozart leeqtsiem and.Si)lemn ke,fper,4. Our summer concert had the theme 'Around the World, and
covered an eclcctic mix of music from Nessun dorma to Wonderwall by Galla&yheT.
Finanei41 review
The Society aims to maintain sutTicient Reserves to ¢nsur¢ that its financial obligations to creditors can
always be satisfied. The aim ¢ach financial year is to ensure that inwme from subscriptions and a
broad range of fund-raising activilies are sufficient lo meet the ex￿ftses arising from the activities of
the Society. There was a surplus of £689 in th¢ year. We have seen a decline in m¢mb¢rship which has
the dual effect of reduced subscriptions and fewer potential ticket sales. 2026 will b¢ our 80
anniversary and we plan to attrad new mcmbers to our friendly group. W¢ hope that the chance to sing
Handel Me.%.siah in March 2026 will provide an incentive. following in Gareth Malone's footsteps.
There was a loss on the concert a￿OUnt of £1.272. Fund-raising activiti¢s throughout the year
generated £3,946. 11 is proEX)sed that subscriptions will be increased by £10 at the AGM in September
2025.
During the y¢ar nor£ of the TnLStees rc¢¢iv¢d any CXFenses or other r¢mun¢ration or benefit in kind.
The tr￿SteeS are not aware of any dis¢losable Related Paty TrdL8actions.
The monetary assets of the Society are in the forni of bank accounts with CAF Bank Ltd and Virgin
