INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF
HAVERING SINGERS
I reN)rt on the accounts of the Society for th¢ year ended 31. July 2024 which ar¢ set
out on page 3.
Respective responsibilitiu of trustees and examiner
The charity's tn￿teeS are r¢sw)nsible for the preparation of the accounts. Th¢ charity'5
truslees consider that an audit is not required for this year un(kr section 144(2) of the
Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Acl) and that an inde￿ndent examination is ne¢ded.
11 is my r¢S￿nSIbl]ity to..
Examine the accounts under section 145 of th¢ 2011 Act:
To follow the procedures laid down in the Genernl Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners under section 145(5Xb) of the 2011 Act; and
To state whether ￿tiCUlar matters have rA>mc to my attention.
Basis of examiner's Jtsternent
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the
Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records
kept by the charity and a compwison of accounts presented with those records. It
also includes consideralion of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and the
se¢king of explanations from you as trusle¢s concerning any such matters. The
procedur¢s undertaken do noi provide all the evide￿% that would be required in an audit
and. consequently, no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and
fair vieNV and the rep)rt is limited to those matters set out in the ststement below.
Independent examiner's statement
In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attention
which give me cause lo believe that. in any material res￿Cl..
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the 2011
Act.. or
the accounts did not ac¢ord with the accouniing records.. or
the accounts did not comply with the accounting requircm¢nts conrxrning the
form and contrnt of th¢ accounts srt out in the Charities (Awounts and Reports)
R¢gulations 2008 oth¢r than any requirem¢nt that the accounts give a 'true and
fair. view which is not a rnatt¢r considere4J as pwt of an Independent
Examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other rnatters in cOnn￿tIon with the
examination to which attention should be drawn in this rekK)rt in order to ¢nabl¢ a
proper understanding of the a￿OUnts to be reached.
