The Matthew Trust is a national charity for people with mental health problems and victims of abuse as they are amongst the most misunderstood and disadvantaged in our society. We give help for their everyday lives - for example - clothing, furniture and equipment to repair bleak homes, respite breaks for the family, child carers holidays, second chance education to encourage back to work or hobbi

Objects: (A) The Promotion Of The Spiritual Moral Mental Educational And Material Wellbeing Of Persons Who Are In Need By Reason Of Being (I) Socially Maladjusted Or Mentally Distressed In Particular But Not Necessarily Exclusively Discharged Prisoners, Discharged Patients Of Special Hospitals Or (Ii) The Victims Of Crimes And (Iii) In Bringing To The Notice Of The Relevant Authorities And The Public In General The Needs Of Such Persons.
