The hall prowdes a meeting place for local people. It is OFen one evening
a week as a dub night when the bar is open and food available. The hall
1$ the venue for local dubs to rneet i.e. Women's Institute, the Sequence
Dance Club. a Badminton Club. the local Pantomime group use the hall
for rehearsals and the rKodudion most years. arKI the local primary
school use th8 hall for their Chrisbnas rehearsaLs and produdion. Tho
Parish Counal meet at the hall and it is used as a polling 8tation. The h811
is available to hire for parts'es. meetings, ￿￿dding5 and keep fft dasses.
The hail is now hosts a *wkly c4)mmunrty library and puzzle exchange.
There is a bowling green us8d by the Bowling Club and a football prtch.
The Football Club is working ￿th the hall to imwove the pilch and
facilibe8.

benefft in planning activitses, there a￿ weferential rates for Parish
Residents and the Affiliated Club and free use lor wakas. We hold an
annual free Christrnas Lunch for th08e over 85, a fvn day, Christmas
L￿hts 8%Mtch on and a Hall0%￿n dls(y) for the childrnn.

Tha volunteers ￿ a major assat to the running of the hall 88 running the

Vthh the improved faCilit￿S at the Football Pavilion more events are hekl
using the playing field, induding the Plyrnouth and District Dog Club who
meet a year for their dtsJ dub everrts. There is a new football club
based here, and they are making further imFYovaments to both the Inside
and outside of the Pavilion.
The Club Nights. Skitves and Quiz evenings and the monthly Bingo are
all powlar events arml provide a good social abnosphere and funds for
the hall.
At Chrl8tmas trte Sattash T¢y*m Band lead Mary and Joseph and their
pony, along with Father Christmas and many of the vlllagers carrylng
lantems, from the top of th8 village to the hall for carol singing, and then
all enter the hall for mulw wine or squash with mince pi88, ￿fjth Father
Christmas giwng sweets to the children, and the band continuing to play
carol8 whlle fund rai8ing stalls are raising funds for the hall.
FUrtI￿r music events bgan held. building on the 8UCCe88 and
enthu8ia8m of the weviou8 year. More events are belng planned for next
year.
A large part of the fvnd raising for the hall wme8 wlth the help of the
Catering team and volunteers who F¥Jt on the Sunday Lunches during the
year 8rKI Christmas Lunthes during the le5tive season. These event8
have continued to be popular following the improvements made to the
krtrtwi. ligming and In8ulation that **re completed last year.
