The Committee consists of the following individuals

The committee oversees the running of the Community Centre but does not organise any of the
functions that take pl￿e. We supply the building and facilities for various groups to use.
Street dance still remains our biggest hirer. Slimming World holds two sessions on each
Saturday morning. The new church group holds services every Sunday morning. Yoga classes
run each Monday morning. Get Together Club, aimed at the older residents, runs once a month
on Tuesdays with Dog training in the evening. We have a new group for the disabled on a
Wednesday. Karate continues to meet most weeks on a Thursday.
The centre still remains a popular venue for children's parties at weekends. Some regular
meetings and inforn]al gatherings also take place. The centre is also used as a Polling Station
when requi￿1 and is I1￿¢d by the council as an emergency centre.
Our finances have come under considerable strain due to continuing price rises. Some groups
that started failed due to lack of numbers and we have been unable to attract more long terni
regular hire￿.
