The committee oversee the running of the Community Centrc bui does not organi5e any of the
functions Ihat take place. We supply the building and facilities for various g¥roups to use.
We are now getting yome new long term hirers in and othcr groups are hiring on an ad hoc basi5.
Street diin¢¢ look on another slot and rcmain our bigg)c8t hirer. The new church is running well as
is thc children's play group. l.ine Dancing meet once a month and Nurse training scssions take
place as required. Karate continues to meei most week5. Dog Training,, Puppy Trainin8,
Slimming World (Iwo sessions) run each week and thc Get 'l'ogeiher Club. for the older
generation, still runs each month.
The centre still remains a popular vcnue for children's parties at weekends. Some regular
meeting5 and infornial gathcrings also take place. The ccntre is also used as a Polling Station
when required and is listed by the council as an emergency cenlre.
We remain financially strong but may need to increase our hire rates this year as this has not
been done for many year5 and costs are for ever increasing
