## **Structure, Governance and Management**

Governed by Trust Deed dated 29[th] January 1986

The Fund is constituted as a Trust and the Trustees are elected by the members of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Kent

## **Objectives and Activities**

The object of the Charity, as set out in the governing document, is to provide relief to poor and distressed brother masons, or their poor and distressed widows and children, or for the benefit of Masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies, or objects.

During the year under review, grants were made of £5,520.00

## **Achievements and Performance**

Donations to the Fund (by members) have seen a slight increase from 2022. The attendance at our members meetings has improved post Covid19, although the overall member

numbers of the organisation continue to reduce overall. It is the members who wholly contribute to the fund. Grants approved this year are lower than previous years, but projected grants for 2023-24 are higher, and this year is only one of consolidation.

## **Reserve Policy**

The usual policy of the Fund is to maintain a reserve which represents between 18 months and 24 months of annual income.

## **Exceptions**

None

## **Declaration**

The Trustees declare that they have approved the above report.
