In the year endej 31 Marth 2025. the Sxiety recaved £204.402 (2024.. £183,824), in donations,
madrasah fee5, grBnts. sub9Trpb'c￿s etc.. srEnt £191.989 (2024: £148,350) leavlno an overall
surplus of £12,413 (2024: £35,474). During the year the knety Suc￿SfullY fdflll8J many ￿ Its

l) Offered facilities for the five Daily Exayers, Frlday prayers and the tsvo Eid prayers. Therels
a regular second jama'at being offered for Friday prayers which is usually very well
attended.
2) Made arrangements Ramadhan, i.e. Taraweeh prdyers, lftaar, Iknkaf, etc. Our I￿0[
Madrassa students also It)J part of the Taraweth prayers, arxl we had 5 people sittlng In
Iktikaf this year. This year, rather than aptK)inting volunteer 5tthts to l&,
expwienced Huffaz from Craw* with excellent ￿￿t￿￿) We￿ reuuited to lead the
Taraw*h prayer.

Coundl, the Masjid manag8J to seojre a new burial site at Wcthirv4 Cemetery fcf an
addikn.onal 150 grdves. Worthing Masjid is confident that this will prowde for our burial needs
for many years to come.
9, Vlgt My Mosque Day
We partldpated In the VSslt W Mosque Day whlth Is a nati¢￿31 campaSgn fadlltstgj by the
Muslim Council of Britsin (MCB). WorthirvJ Masjid dcws were open to the public from 10.CNkn
to 5.00pm on Sunday 29 ￿pternter 2024. We had over 60 non-muslim visitors who We￿ able
to witness the daily life insKle a mosque. They ha(1 ¢)f¢#Ytunty to ask questlons and chat
with the Imam and cther l(Kal Muslims. Imam Idris ddibÈred 3 well rÉreived talks at(Jut
aspects of Islam which are considered to be controversial. Refreshments and snacks we
available. It Was an informal event in an atrno5p￿e cl friend5hlp and goKthIII. Eath guest
was glven a gift to take hc4ne. The feedback we rece￿￿1 was entirely kJ)sitive.

On July 15, 2025, our Masjld (xganlzal the "Rememtrfflng Sretrnlca. event at WorthlThJ Town
Hall, commwnoratsro the v6rtlms of the *etr*enlca w￿de. The event was atterKl&d by
Folltkians, rdigious leaders, memt*r5 of the general wblic, all comlro toJether to honc
the Ilves lost and refi￿t ￿ the imtK)rtydrKe of prrynrting tolerall￿ and understarKJing in our
f4xiety. Through spe￿e5. educati￿al discussions, aTrJ a moment of silen￿. attendee5 were
reminded of the devastating impact of hatred arky the r*cessity to advccate for human rights.
This event highlightaJ L￿r Lxynmitsnent to r￿n￿)bran￿ and the vital role we play in fosten'ng
community solldarity against discriminatic￿ arKI violen￿,
11. Hifz Corn￿et￿ Prrfjramme.
On August 10, 2025, o S￿(10] event was held to ￿letrte the Hffz completlon of one of our ex-
students, Hafez Nasm Haque. Moularta Abjur Raheem timbada, who is the senior letturer at
Bury Darul Ulc()m. delivered a pmerful reminder atojt the rlghts of Quran. The
prLy3ramme which wa5 atteThJed by around 200 pw)le included Nasheed read1￿j and Qiraat.
