Structure• iovernance and monazement The Charlty Is governed by its constitutlon dated February 2015. Trustees meet regularly to discuss, plan and monltor the artivlties of the Charity. The Charity ha5 no employees. All events are or8anlsed by volunteers. New Trustees are appointed from the parents of the Gerrards Cross CE School. The Trustees confirm that they have complled wlth thelr duty to have due regard to the 8uldance on publlc benefit published by the Charlty CommSsslon, In exerclsln8 thelr powers and dutle5. Investment powérs and pollcles The Charity wlll seek to maximise the return on cash balances by utillsln8 hl8her Interest bank accounts, where approprlate. The Charlty wlll not make any other form of Investment. Resems pollcy The Trustees conslder that a reserve In the reglon of £2,000, but not more than £8,000, Is necessary to ensure sufflcient funds are available to secure booklngs or make payments in advance of events. In addltion, the Trustees consider that the Charlty should hold sufflclent funds to meet any needs of the school, which can, at the dlscretlon of the Trustees be used to fund expendlture by the school of up to £40,000. The level of reserves Is consldered by Trustees at thebr quarterly meetings.

The event was a huge success, wlth tlckets selllnB Out and the school commlttee asklng for St to be added to the future annual calendar. The event ralsed £985 for the school In the year Iwlth £2,326 of funds raSsed In the prlor flnanclal year, when tlcket sales went Ilve). z Nlght Thls event ralsed a great proflt of £4,828 (YE 2023: £3,567). The event was held In the Gerrards Cro CE School hall and Mr Arnold, a tea¢her from the school, was the qu12 master and kept the parents entertained, The PTA hereby records Its thanks to Mr Arnold and all those who helped make the event a huge success. Chrl$tmo$ wreath maklnq workshop A Chrlstmas wreath making workshop was held a8aln thls year, followlng the successful Sntroductlon of thls event last year. The event was held In the Gerrards Cross CE School hall and was led by a local florlst, Holly and Ivy Flower5. The event ralsed £224 (YE 2023: £2261 and was a wonderful festlve evening that was enJoyed by all who attended. thrfstmos Falr The Chrlstmas Falr ra15ed £10,055 (YE 2023: £5,293). Whllst the PTA contlnued wlth the usual activities, we also continued the concept of a Christmas village that was Introduced in 2022. The Chrlstmas vllla8e involved local small suppllers setting up stands and selllng thelr Items (such as Jewellery, gift hampers and homemade Items) In exchan8e for a monetary donatlon to the PTA. Thls was a well-attended event and overall, there was a great fe5tSve spirit. Christmas Cards Christmas cards ralsed £694 IYE 2023: £701). The onllne sale of Chrlstma5 cards contlnues to be very well received.

The PTA produced beautiful Easter Hampers to be raffled off for the event, whSch was made possible because of the generous hamper donatlons from parents. Eqster Eqq Hunt Glven the success of the Easter Egg Hunt In prior years, the event was put on agaln over two days. Famllles purchased tickets and were 8lven a map and clues to lead them to letters, put up around the local area, and identify an easter themed word. The egg hunt ended wlth each chlld recelvln8 an easter egg from JJ Toys, a local buslness. The PTA would like to record Its slncere thanks to the owners of JJ Toys for thèir support with thls event and their help with makln8 It such a 8reat success agaln. Thls event ralsed £790 (YE 2023: £6451. Party In Playqround Party In Playground ralsed a healthy proflt of £3,482 (YE 2023: £2,S04). Thls event was the sarne format as the prlor year, where sllght changes were made to the layout and some addltions such as a pettln8 area were Introduced. The PTA contlnued to adopt a more envlronmentally friendly approach, uslng the reusable plasti¢ cups purchased In the prlor year. Customers who purchased drinks pald a dep051t for each CUPI whlch was then refunded to them upon returnln8 the cup. Second Hand Unllorm Soles Two second hand unlform sale events were held at school (Oct 23 and May 241 and another was held In June 24, for new parents lolnln8 In Sep 24. As wlth prlor years, the sales proved to be very popular wlth parents and ralsed £808 (YE 2023: £6841 for the PTA. Other new events Durin8 the year, the PTA also Introduced a Summer Soclal, an adult only event for parents to celebrate the end of the school year, and Legoland ticket sales for the Inset day In September. The events ralsed £709 and £3,715, respertlvely. Donatlons Th15 year the PTA recelved donatlons or sponsorshlp for speclflc events, such as Chrlstmas falr. The Trustees would Ilke to take thls opportunity to thank all those Indlvlduals and buslnesses who, through thelr dedlcatlon and hard work, have asslsted wlth maklng all these events memorable and successful. Aftolysls of donatlons Our events ralsed £27,926, of whlch a total of £38,970 was donated back to the school, which pald for Items set out on pa8e 3 of the financlal statements.
