**Objects:** 1. THE STUDY AND RECORDING, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, OF THE DISTRIBUTION AND ECOLOGY OF THE FAUNA AND FLORA OF KENT. 2. THE PROMOTION OF NATURE CONSERVATION IN KENT, IN ASSOCAITON WITH THE RELEVANT BODIES. 3. THE PROVISION OF A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN FELLOW NATURALISTS WITHIN KENT BY MEANS OF FORMAL AND FIELD MEETINGS, PUBLICATIONS AND ANY OTHER APPROPRIATE MEANS.

**Activities:** Aims are the study and recording of the flora and fauna of Kent, promotion of nature conservation, and provision of a means of communication between naturalists in the county. This is carried out through programmes of outdoor and indoor meetings; publication of documents; appointment of recorders to act as referees for particular taxa; and support for appropriate activities by outside bodies.
