## **The Friends of Glebe Housing Association Annual Report for the Charity Commission**

The past year has been largely a dormant one as far as the Friends of Glebe Housing Association is concerned. For most of the time we have been locked-down in the best interests of the residents, as we have followed the Government’s guidelines during the COVID19 pandemic.

As restrictions have recently and gradually been lifted, we have resumed our activities on behalf of the residents. The freedom to meet together again, enjoy one another’s company and actively participate in the various clubs and activities arranged by the Friends has been appreciated.

The Friends are currently planning social events in the lead up to Christmas, such as a quiz night and concerts, as well as coach outings to places of interest.

We have continued to support the GHA financially by paying for various improvements in the amenities provided for residents, both within our buildings and in our grounds and gardens.

The Friends hope that we shall be able to serve the residents here with renewed enthusiasm during the coming year, with each member of the Committee (the Trustees) contributing from their own experience and knowledge in an effective way.
