During 2023 the Trust conb.nued distributing aKI in Kerala State. India.
We are able to report a significant increase in ftAndraising and donakn.ons this year. due to a £10,000 bequest
followng the sad passing of away of one of the Trusvs long teTh supporters and a generous donation of
£2.728 from the East Sheen and Mortlake Churches to our'Buildings Fund..
Our main activity of sponsorship of children in the Chen9annur area o)ntinued. Under our 'Buildings Fund.
we completed what will probably be our final complete house build. In fubjre ftJnd5 will be distributed as
smaller payments for improvements and repairs thus tenefitting a larger number of families. We increased
distributions under OLtr'Hungry Fund- which 15 used to provide basic food necessities for the poor and destitute.
We also gave other general and emergency support and aid to individuals and schools in and around
Chengannur based on assessments and recommendations of our Project Manager Jatt*b Punnen.
In 2023 we made another annual payment to Jacob Punnen in recognilhjn of his otherwise unpaid work for
the Trust.
The trustees at the commencement and end of the year were Russell Mattin, Rlchard Breese and Stuart Mathn.

that the audit requirement of section 43121 of the Charrties A¢t 1993 (the Act) does not apply.
It is my responsibility lo state. on the basis of the procedures specified In the General
directions given by the Charity Commsssioners under section 43{7) of the Act whether
particular matters have come to my att8ntion.
Basis of the independent examiner's report
My exarninalion was carried out In accordance with the General Oirectsons given by the
Charity Commissioners. An examin21ion includes a review of the accounting ￿e0rd$ kept by
the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
considemtion of any unusual items or diS¢losu￿$ in the accounts, and Seeking explanali¢n$
from you as trustees concerning any such matters
The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express
an audit opinion on the view gtven by the axounts.

In connection with rny examination. no matter has come to my attention..
which gives me ￿asonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requiremen15
