Dufing 2021 the Trust continued wrth its aid work in Kerala Stste. India. Our main activty conts.nued to
be the sponsorship of children in the Chengannur area.
Ouring the year our activities were affected by the covid-19 pandemic. Work continued, but at a slower
pace. Our balance al the year end was higher than at eommencement because of this, but also because
the Trust hacl received a substsntial and welcome donatson bequeathed in a wtll which has not yet been
fully spent.
However the Trust has managed to assist many families extra bas￿ fo&Y and essentials during the
Indian covid related lockdown Ftriod. We also gave other general and emergency support and aid to
individuals and schools in and around Chengannur. based on the assessments and recommendations
of our Project Manager Jacob Punnen.
In 2021 we made another annijal payment to Jacob Punnen in recOgn￿on of the significant amount of
his time that he spends on the Trusys acJ'vity'es. Jacob's input and experb.se is essentsal to the operation
cf the Trust and is otherwise unpaid.
The trustees at the commencement and end of the year were Russell Mattin. Richard Breese and
Stuart Mattin.
