The Charity was founded by way of a Trust Deed, dated 21 August 1985, and both capital
and income can be expended upon such charilable purposes as the Trustees think fi't.
Dividends and interest received were as expected in light of the market conditions for the
year to 5th of April 2024. Total dividends and interest receNed on stocks and shares was
£17,270.92, according to the yearly accounts for the Charity.
There were repayments of £15.0(Xi made against the loan to the church in Norwich, which
loan is fully covered by the market vaiue of the freehold church hdl.
There were no liabilities.
GrantslGifts of £10,800 were made this year arKI the Trustees exercised caution given the
market and fiscal uncertainties.
The Trustees continued to follow the investment policy statement agieed by them. This is
reviewed annually with the benefi't of advice from both an independent fi'nancial adviser
and from Barclays Bank.
Upon the exercise of the Trustees, discretion, some preference was given to the
advancement of the Christian faith in London.

## **Independent Examiner’s Report to the Trustees of F H Sayers Foundation Charity No. 293286** 

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the year ended 5[th] April 2024. 

As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that, in any material respect: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or 

- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
