Structure, Governance & Management
This trust was established by Martin Richard HarTiS by deed dated 29th March 1966. This
imposes no restrictions on the distribution of funds for charitable purposes.
The names of the trustees are set on pLoe I, together Thith the trust's address. They
served as trustees throughout thc yw. and are the sons of Martin Richard Harris.
Objective5 & Activities
The objective of the trust is to make donations and grants for charitable purposes for
activities that it supports and is interested in. These include charities involved for the public
benefit in medical research and care. social welfare, educatio￿ heritage and the arts, often in
the London Borough of M¢rton or w.here the other trustees live. The trustees choose these
charities at their sole discretion. Some of the clwities ar¢ those which the trustees are
Involve￿ failing which the charities are known to them. The tn￿te¢S consider they have
complied their duty to have due regards to the Clwity Collllnission's public benefit
guidance when exercising any powers or duties to which the guidance is relevanL

OR FOR THOSE CEtARITABI.E PURPOSES IN WHICH THEY ARE INTERESTED
AND NOT TO RESPOND TO UNSOLICITF.D APPEALS.
Achievements & Perforniance
During the year, the trnstees made donations and grants of £36.340. over 30/0 more than last
year, and slightly less than the income received during the yeaT. The trustees will continue
to review the level of donations given to match the Trust's income.

The net assets as at 5th April 2025 are shown on page 4.
A SUMM￿ of receipts and payments for the year is given on page 5.
The Tn￿t does not hold any assets custodian on behalf of others.
The trustees consider that the utwealised gain on th¢ Investmen￿ which constitute the main
reserves of the charity. is not available for distribution. Th¢ trustees consider that the
inveslm¢nts should maintain EK)th a suitable capital sum and a regular incom¢ to me¢t the
trustees, needs for the level of donations and grants they might wish to make.

ended 5 April 2025.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Tntst you responsible for tbe preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the TnLSt's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out mv exatllination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by
tbe Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of tbe ACL

connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
