Objectives & Activities
The objective of the trust is to make donatiODS and grants for charitable puryoses for
activities that it supy)rts and is interested in. These include charities involved for th¢ public
benefit in medical research and care. social welfare, education, heritage and th¢ arts often in
the London Borough of Merton or wher¢ the other tr￿￿teeS live. The trustees choose these
charities at their sole discretiorn Some of the cbarities are those with which the truste¢s are
Involve￿ failing which the charities are known to them. The trustees consider they have
complied with their duty to have due regards to the Charity Comn]Kssion's public benefit
guidance wbell exercising any tK>weTS or duties to which the guidance is relevant.
The t￿￿t does nol undertake any fulld-raising activities and has no employees.
THE POLICY OF THE TRUSTEES IS TO MAKE DONATIONS ONLY TO CHARITIES
OR FOR THOSE CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN WHICH 'fHEY ARE ￿TERESTED
AND NOT TO RESPOND TO UNSOLICITED APPEALS.
Achievements & Perfornlance
During the year, the trustees made donations and grants of £30,590, marginally more than
last yeaT, and slightly more than the income received during the year. The trustees will
continue to review the level of donations given to match th¢ TnLSt's income.
Financial Review
The net assets as at 5th ApTiI 2022 are shown on page 4.
A SUMM￿ of receipts and payments for the year is given on page 5.
The Trl￿ does not hold any &ssets &s cwtodian on behalf of others.
The trustees consider that the unrealised gain on the investments, which constitute the main
reserves of the charity, is not available for distributio￿ The trustees ¢onsid¢r that the
investments should maintsin a suitable capital sum and a regular income to meet the
tr￿stee$, needs for the level of donations and grdnts th¢y might wish to make.
