This trust was established by Martin RicF￿d Harris by deed dated 29th Mar¢b 1966. This
imposes no restrictions on the distribution of funds for charitable purposes.
The names of the trustees are set out on page l. togeth¢r with the trust's addr¢ss. They
served as trustees throughout the year, and are the sons of Martin Richard Harris.
ObjectAves & Activities
The objective of the trust is to make donations and grdnts for clwitable purposes for
activiti¢s that it supports and is interest¢d in. These ]￿lUde charities involved for the public
benefit in medical research and care. social welfare. educatio￿ h¢Titage and the arts, ofien in
the London Borough of Merton or where the other tn]stees live. The trustees choose these
charities at their sole discretiorL Some of the charities are those with which the trustees are
involved. failing which the charities are known to them. The trustees consider they have
cornplied with their duty to bave due regards to the CTrwity Con]mission's public benefit
guidance wh¢n exercising any wwers or duti¢s to which the guidance is relevant.
The tn￿ does not undertske any fimd-raising activities and IKS no employees.

Achievements & Perfonnanee
During th¢ y¢ar, th¢ ￿1￿c¢S mad¢ donations and grants of £30,585, the same &$ last year,
despite the income received being less due to the Covid pandemic. Th¢ trustees WAII review
the level of donations given to match the Tn￿t'S income.

The Trust does not hold any assets as custodian on ￿half of otheTS.
The trust¢¢s consider that the unr¢alis¢d gain on the investments. which constitute the main
reserves of the charity, is not available for distributio￿ The trLths consider that the
investsnents should maintsin both a suitable capital sum and a regular income to meet the
trustees. needs for the level of donations and grants they might wish to make.

Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Tn￿t you are responsible for the prepardtion of the accounts in
accordance Wkth the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report in respect of my examin￿On of the Trust's a￿)Unts eauied out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in caThying out my exan]ination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by
the Cklarity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's Statement
I have completed my examination. I confimj that no Materi￿ matters have come to my attention in
coDnectÉon with the examinknon giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act.
