Founded in 1942, Arthritis Action is a UK charity helping people with arthritis to live a more active life with less pain. The Charity offers a holistic self-management approach to people living with all forms of arthritis, comprised of healthy eating and nutritional consultations, education and support groups, self-management events, and access to physical therapies across the UK.

Objects: To relieve and promote the relief of people with arthritis and associated musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions by: • helping and supporting them through the provision of the best available evidence-based approaches and techniques for managing arthritis and associated MSK conditions; • monitoring arthritis related developments and initiatives, and promoting efforts to gain a better understanding of arthritis and associated MSK conditions and their impact on people’s lives; and • raising awareness of arthritis and associated MSK conditions and disseminating evidence-based information about all matters relating to those conditions.
