Ob'ectives and activities
The Association is established for the relief and assistance of past
apprentice members of FiAF HaMon and their dependents who are in
need by reason of povety. disability. sickness. infirmity or otherwise., and
promote the efficiency of the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy and for
the relief of past Apprentice members of No 1 School of Technical
Training and their dependents should such persons be in conditions of
need, hardship or distress.

A Council manages the Association, which comprises of elected
members. Ath'vities include the arrangement of r&unions, provisions of
welfare support to members in need and support to other Service
Charities and local organisations that have dose connections with RAF
Hafton.
Contributes to the Annual Open Day at Halton House, RAF Halton during
National Hentage Week in September when it is open to the general
public.
Support for the RerneMbran￿ Day servI￿s at Sl Georges Church, FIAF
Harton annually in November by way of transportation, floral displays and
refreshments.
Manage and provide voluntary staff for the RAF Halton Station Archives
Provides support at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas,
Staffordshire. for the maintenancy of the Halton Grove Memorial Garden.

Further income was initiated by RAF HAA 500 dub lottery money, fomied

Initiated the funding of Legacy Appeal to install a lasting memorial to all
ex-RAF Hatton ApprentI￿S at the National Memorial Art)oretum Halton
Grove memorial Garden.
Approved the sums of £2500 to each of the charriies, SSAFA and Blind
Veterans.
