Resp¢ctive Responsibilities As the Registered Charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the ChaLIty Con)missioners &8 to whether any particular matters have come to my attention. I continue to report to you under the ChaTities (Protection and Social Investment) ACL 2016. This Act has varied, and modified, a number of previous Acts Of Parliamen¢ and has also consolidated the previous Act of 2011. I have considered the a¢¢ounts. &s submitted, on this basis. .continues
Crucially, the 2016 Act has introduced compliance requirements applicable to Charities who use Professional Fundraisers or Commercial Participators to fimd raise. the requirem¢nts cover behaviour. unr¢asonably intrnsive or persistent approaches and general pmtection of the public, and the specific prot¢ction of vuln¢rable people from fundraising approa¢h¢s. I have requested. and been provided with confinnation by the the Finance Team with rega to the above paragraph and l am, therefore, satisfied that the activities of the Bulmershe School Fund do not fall witl)in the scope of these requtrements. Basis Of Independent KxamiD¢rs Report My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. The examination included a r¢vi¢w of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts 18 presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in th¢ accoun and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in a fu]1 audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the a¢¢ounts. As in previous years, I have been provided with prepared accounts which provide very Clear management and financial inforn)ation with the resultant benefits in the administering of the School Fund. The ongoing usage of computer software continues to ensure that the accounts and records supplied to me by the Finance Officer are clear and provide an accurate audit trail. The fllwicial statements of the School Fund for the above period are appended herewith.
..continues Independent Examiner's StatemeDt In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention which: (a) gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act. and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the Act have not been meL and (b) to which, in my opin10 attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. l fijrther consider the accounts, for the period ended 31st July 2023, as prepared and submitted to me, provide a true, fair and accurate record of the Bulmeishe School Fund.
