BeTkshire RG5 3EU 20 January 2023 To Whom It May Concern, Independent Examination - Bulmershe School Fund (A Registered Charity) I report, as instructed by yOUTselves, on the accounts of the above mentioned Bulmershe School Fund for the period l August 2021 to 31 July 2022. Respective Responsibilities As the Registered Charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.. It is my iesponsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners as to whether any particular matters have come to my attention. Once again, this year I am reporting under the Charities (Profrction and Social Investment) Act, 2016. This Act Iw varied. and modified, a number of previous Acts Of ParliatnenL and has also CO011datcd the previous Act of 2011. I have considered the accounts, as submitte¢ on this basis. ..continues
Crucially, the 2016 Act has introduced compliance requirements applicable to Charities who use ProfessionaI Fundraisers or Commercial Participators to fund raise. the requirements cover behaviour, unttasonably tntruslve or persistent approaches alld general protection of the public, and the specific protection of vulnerable people from fid[aiSing approaches. I have, once agai liaised with the Finance Officer on the above matters and am satisfied that the activities of the Bulmershe School Fund do not fall within the scope of these requirements. Basis Of Independent Examiners Report My examination was catTied out in accordance with tbe General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts as presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in th¢ accounts, and seeking explanations from you as tntee8 concerning any such rnatt8. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be tequired in a 11 audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. As in previous years, accounts have been prepared which provide very clear management and financial infornwtion with the resultant beneflts in the administering of the School Fund. The ongoing usage of computer software continues to ensure that the accounts and records supplied to me by the Finance Officer are clear and provide an accurate audit trail. The fInan¢ial stat¢ments of the School Fund for the above p¢riod are appended herewith. ..continues
Independent ELgminer's Statement In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention which: (a) gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act. and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting r¢cords and to comply with the accounting requirements of the Act have not been met. and (b) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. I further consider the accounts, for the period ¢nd¢d 3 Isl July 2022, as prepaT¢d and submitted to me. provide a true, fair and accurate record of the Bulmershe School Fund.
