Irn Ftzversham Fud This has continued to be used to thaT& people who have seTved the local wmmunlty durin8 lotkdown and tobless those in finanaal need as a result of loekdowTh It is anticipated that there will be a long tern) eftects and the fund will be used as opporlunkties arise. The fLd currently stands at £3657 Grft Days Gift days were held during the year in Tesponse to specific events and to support aspects of the Relatlonal Mission family of chwches. Durlng the year. a total of £1,79 was distributed across emergency response in Ukraine, Turkey & S1*, a building project tri Bolivla and RM church plants in Swale. Fwdbank We continue to support Faversham FLan& which was founded by local thurdies under the umbrella of Churches Together in Faversham. Clwrth members niake regular donations of food to the proiecL The Faversham Foodbank is providjng a very valuable seryice to the town and we receive regular updates on how many people have been Served through this Initiative and the quantities of food that FLave been distributed. The heart of the MakeLunch project Is to provide hrt nutritious meals during sdLooI holidays for children who would normally rceive free sdwol mea]s. In addition to food, MakeLwth Favers1M offers tk thildren enrithment through craft activltles and We our MakeLunth kitthen in the Gatefield Hall at the Alexander Centre. The Faversham MakeLun¢h kitthen was open for a total of 16 se8s1or across 8th001 holidays thts year. Atots] of 404 meals were served to 81 different dthdren as well as pvIdAng opportunities for craft work and 8ames. Jn Additio l(r2 meals were seThed to parents and carer& 17 different volunteer8 worked for a total ot 156 session& The MakeLunth Favershkm kitthen is accreditsd by TLG MakeLunth part of the tharlty Transforming LiveB for Good. Through them we are 8rateful that we receive sponsorship from the food indiisty clwity eal8 & Mozd. Ltitle Angels meeting for parents and caTers with theirbabieB and toddlers continued at the Gatsfield Hall in the Alexander Centse. From *tember we reverted to open access WAthout booknns and hosted 30 to 45 faniilies e week Due to the substantial reserves built up dwyng the Covid-19 era the trustees decided to forso the two planned sift days for church fimds. As per the prevlous year. there was no aid daim made this year. This accrued aid from the 202(k22] and 2021.2022 finanaal years glves an asset of about£19.0 to be da]nd next year. This means that the trust's finan are in a healthy position and able to 8UPPOrt tUre bud8ets whith have a small deficiL Toward8 the end of the previous year action was taken to recover a small amount whith NatWe8t Bank had moved to a dornwit account. The tntstees also held a spedal nting in March to pa&8 a Tesolution so that former tntstees were removed as Si8natories on the Natwest accounts and that new tThtee6 were added. Nothin8 had been heard back from the bank on either of these by the end of Marth 2022. The money moved to a dornwLt account was finally coVered on 3rd October 2022 but at the end of Marth 2023 the chanse to Si8natories had not been completed despite several follow up attempts.
