**Objects:** TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR TEACHING AT THE CENTRE (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED FROM STATUTORY FUNDS ) FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT THE CENTRE AND AS ANCILLARY THERETO AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE FRIENDS MAY:- A. FOSTER MORE EXTENDED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CENTRE AND B. ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE CENTRE AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS ATTENDING IT.

**Activities:** The friends help Kent Music School to run their Medway Towns Music Centre. The friends of MTMC provide helpers, music, instruments, music equipment such as stands, run a reedshop & tuckshop and provide theory & aural booster classes and bursaries.
