organisations Worl￿g in low- and ￿iddle-incoMe countries (Lmtcs). The curtailmenf of inlernational ts2Yel hAs

WOC held its fiE5t virtual conference on SÈ June ?022, hosted by Orthohub. This has allowed us lo rewh a wider
audience than usuaL forTh"bich w'e are very Erdtefia. It was especialls. hearteningto see the interesi it generated in
trainees, and we are delighted that our trainee subcommittee 15 going from Stren￿ to strength. Sevenl of them
have inillated ¢ollaborative5 wÈth trdinees in tMIC coutttri4 which mumally beneficial.
WOC had a stand at the rttent British Orthopaedic As￿latiOn Congress in AberdeeD on 21°_ 24fa September.

September on Challenges of M3n2gillg Ortbopaedic Inf￿tionS in li¢wurce-Poor Settitigs.
We had a very productii'e comDJittre m¢eting on 14° Septemb¢r, and made the decision ¢0 hold a faCe-tr￿f￿Ce
conferenc¢ ID June ?022.
WOC are also continuing to supwi a calldidate fotthe BOA Future Leaders Prograwme for 2022. We had some
good q￿lity application5 this year, er¥led up with atie. so w¢ are exploting options frIT fimding to see if both
candidates caD be suppotteiL
Our usual iisits have been suspended owing travel restricuons. but we ]kope to resulne our travel plsns in
the coming year.
