TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH PARTICULARLY IN UNDER-DEVELOPED COUNTRIES BY THE PROMOTION OF ORTHOPAEDIC MEDICINE AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORTHOPAEDIC AND PARA-ORTHOPAEDIC MEDICINE. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ORTHOPAEDIC AND PARA-ORTHOPAEDIC MEDICINE.

**Activities:** The aim of WOC UK is to educate and train personnel to treat and rehabilitate injured and disabled people in the developing world. Members of the association periodically travel to the countries in need of such help to conduct the programmes. In Cambodia funds are utilised for hospital construction. Current actives are in Ethiopia, Malawi & Ghana.
