IMPACT's aim is simple, that no one should become or remain needlessly disabled by disease, lack of knowledge or shortage of medical facilities. IMPACT works in the UK and in some of the poorest countries of Africa and Asia. IMPACT is cost-conscious and cost-effective.
Objects: TO PROMOTE ACTIVITIES FOR THE PREVENTION OF DISABLEMENT AND FOR THE CURE, MITIGATIONAND RELIEF OF DISABLING CONDITIONS AND, IN PARTICULAR, CONSISTENT WITH ITS STATUS AS A CHARITY.[The new Governing document's Clause 5.5 changes 'developing countries' to read 'low-income countries' to reflect current language around international development.]
