FINANCIAL REVIEW The charity had net Incoming resources in the year of £35,087 {2022 £-7011- ASSETS COVER FOR FUNDS The assets attributable to the various funds and these assets are sufficient to meet the charity's commisgi0n. STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENr Anjuman-e-Ja'Fariyya is registered with the Charity Commission (2908491 and constituted bythe deed of trust. The charity is managed by eight trustees vtho meet at fegular intervals to assess progress. The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfied that the systems are in place to mitigate exposureto the major risks. The Trustees present their annual reports and independently examined accounts for the year ending 30 September 2023 STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBIUTIES Thetrustees are responsible forpreparingtheTwstees'Annual Report and thefinancial statements in accordancewith applicable lawand United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practicel- Lawapplicable to charities in England andwales requiresthe trusteesto prepare financial statements for each financial year which give 8 true and fair view of charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity forth8t year. In preparing these financial statements the trustees are required to: Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently. Observe the methods and principles of the Charities SORP. Makejudgements and estimatesthat are reasonable and prudent Statewhether applicable UKAccountingstandards have been followed, subiectto any materialdepartures disclosed and explained in the financial statements. and iv.
Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presumethat the charitywill continue in operation. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of Ihe charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the charities act 2011 and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of traud and other irregularities.
