The TFuslees seek to further these objects by maklng grdnls to other organisation3. In the pa81, the Tnjstees h8Vg
supported and assisted reseaich into the problems of human nkrtrition and other medical rasearch. In addltlon, they
havo prtswded support for the rèllef of poverty and the advaneament of edueatlon. The support has been provided
to organisations based predominantly in Oxfordshire. The Trtjstees. pollcy is to conUnue funding appropriate
research projects, preferably based in Oxfordshire, and supporting local organlsations in Iheir work relating to the
Tgliol of povgty and the advancement of education. The Trustees havè sought to ensure that their poli¢y is made
known lo the public through grant-making dir¢¢tories.

line wtth this policy during the year as set out in note 5 of the accounts.
FSnancial r•vlew
The Trustees are aware of their duty to apply In￿me funds of the charity withln a reaSona￿e lime of their re¢èlpl
and ol the need to jU5trfy any income rgsorves. At S Apdl 2026, the level of unrestiicted funds was £2,532,991 las
ompared with unrestricted frjnds of £2,104.154 at 5 April 20251. The Trustèès, pollcy is to maintain sufficient
income rgserves lo produce investment incomg of approximately £30,000 - £60,000 irt each year the Trustees
consider that the level of Income is likgly tr) be needed to meet direct charitable expenditure Iprfmarily in the fomi of
grants) and manag8menl and administration costs. with a Small arnount avaSIa￿e for contingencies. In viw of the
Tnjsl's Income needs and the (J)angeable invostment 8nvironmenl over the last 12 months, th8 Trustees have
decided to maintain Ihe level of res$Nas for the comlng year.
The Trust's Income Is Ènurely from Investment dividènds and was spent on maklng grants and suprN)rt costs. Thg
level of unrestrkcted funds has increased over the year since 5 April 2025 by £432.734. This is largety due lo an
incrèase in lh8 value of inv¢stments.
Tfustees held the assets of the trust in accordance thelr powe￿ durfng the year. The Trustees have absolute
discretion lo invest the funds of Éhe TnJsl,' no restrictions ar8 placed on thèse powers. The T￿￿t￿&S, Fdicy for the
selection of investments for the charlty is lo seek to achieve a balance b8tweon income and capital growth and that
Ihg investment portfolio has a medlum rfsk. Inveslec manages the portrolio on a discretionary basis.
Trustees hava absolijle discretion in the awarding of grants are gulded by the objects of the Trust.

Th8 Robert and Margaret Moss Charitable Trust was establlshed undèr a Trust deed on 24 August 1984 10
admlnister funds setued by Robert and Marga￿t Moss.
New Trustees are appointèd èithèr to fill 8 casual vacancy or by way of additlon lo Ihe Board. Particular emphasls is
placed upon th6 appoinlrnenl of Trustees with knowledge and experfen¢8 ro18v8nt to the Trust's charitabl8 8diwtie8.
When new Trustees are appointed they are given an lfttrodvction to the work of tha and provided with the
Information they need to fulfil their rolès. which indudes information about the role of the Trustees and thelr
responsibilities under tha CharitiasAct 2011.
Day40-day admlnlstralion of the Trust Is delegated to 8n adminislralor under the svpervlsth of the Trustees.
Deasion-making powers are relained by thè Trustees and exercised al regular Twstoes, me8liTWS. The Trustees
