Activities
Activities associated with the management of Fleet Pond nature reserve and SSSI. Active volunteer management, quarterly newsletter, guide leaflets, talks and guided walks aimed at improving awareness and protection of the nature reserves wildlife. Educational visits for local community groups and for schools and youth groups. Corporate team building management tasks for local companies.
Objects: (I) To Stimulate Public Interest And Appreciation For Fleet Pond And Its Surroundings. (Ii) To Promote The Preservation And Maintenance Of Fleet Pond And Promote Its Use As A Public Amenity And A Site Of Scientific Interest And Local Nature Reserve. (Iii) To Encourage The Harmonious And Sensitive Use Of Fleet Pond And Its Surroundings By All Users, Commensurate With Its Status As A Site Of Special Scientific Interest And Local Nature Reserve.
