Looklng tsack
Looking back on the history of The Friends. of St Mary* I Spirewotch- I picked out 2006 as
worthy of what was going on at that time.
The income raised in 2006 was £9.341. IThis was a reasonably amount when considering the
date concerned.
The reason for the ￿lat￿elY Large income in thatyear was due to the art exhibition, which did
very well- coincidingwth the Harrow School break- meaning many parents purchased works
ot art.
Other events included a recttal by David Woodcock and an arm chair walk by Don Walter both
the art exhibition and Don Walter's talk did verywell financially.
Investment income in the year was £811, which was higherth8n previously.

Donations byThe Friend's
£5,320 was donated toward the cLeaning ofthe East win¢Jow stonework and glazing.
Administration costs and the cost of the Tony Beresford memorial amounted to £3,851.
A ihank you to Dawd Grrffiths for auditingthe accounts again this year
It was noted that Spirewatch was expectingto provide 8 further £1.180 in earty 21)07.
