**Objects:** SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES WHICH ADVANCE THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK FOR THE TIME BEING CARRIED ON OR TO BE CARRIED ON IN ENGLAND AND WALES OR ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY OR UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE INSTITUTE INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE NURSING OF SICK POOR AS THE TRUSTEES WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE SUPERIOR GENERAL THINK FIT .

**Activities:** The Charity's activities are carried on by individual Sisters acting within parish communities and the wider community. It runs and supports Catholic schools and care homes.  The Trustees care for their own Sisters who are retiring from active work. The Charity also makes grants to beneficiaries and assists other charities with similar objects.
