## Activities

**Objects:** (1) TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC STUDY OF FAMILY HISTORY, GENEALOGY, HERALDRY, LOCAL HISTORY, AND OTHER ASSOCIATED SUBJECTS WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE COUNTY OF BUCKINGHAMSHIRE (2) TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION, SECURITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF ARCHIVAL MATERIAL. (3) TO PROMOTE AND ENGAGE IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE PUBLICATION AND SALE OF A REGULAR JOURNAL AND OTHER APPROPRIATE MATERIAL.

**Activities:** Promote and encourage a) the public study of family history b) the preservation of archival material c) educational activities. Hold lectures, discussions and exhibitions and to organise educational and research visits. Transcribe and where possible publish relevant material. Engage in collaborative actions with similar societies and with established bodies.
