## Activities

**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE TO PROMOTE IMPROVE DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** The Society consists of an Orchestra and Chorus. Membership is open to all comers without audition. Members learn and rehearse music with the objective of providing four public concerts per year. The Orchestra invites all comers to an open rehearsal free of charge. Occasionally, the Chorus runs an open singing course. The Society supports local charities by performing carols at Christmas time.
