The object of the association (the objects) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:

The committee members/trustees undertake the activities set out below for the public benefit, and in doing so have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit: 

1. Raise funds (but not by means of permanent trading) by holding one-off events (eg annual ball, trivia nights, barbecues, fairs, second hand uniform sales, etc) 

2. Use funds to make donations to school to advance the education, including well-being, of the students of Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

The charity earned more than £25,000 income this year due to holding a fund-raising ball. A portion of the monies raised were paid out as expenses to cover the cost of ball tickets. 

The charity also ran a small lottery.
