The Object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of the Warren School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities at the school and as ancillary thereto and in furtherance of this object the Association may:

a) Foster more extensive relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school

b) Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it

c) Raise monies for the purposes of the Association

d) Encourage closer contact and co-operation between the school and the local community

Main Activities and Achievements this year:
At the start of this financial year Covid 19 restrictions meant that some fundraising and events were affected. We were successful in raising a good amount towards the playground project. This was raised via:
2 Quiz nights, cake sale, car boots, a Christmas event and raffle, Christmas card project, Easter raffle/ squares, preloved uniform sales, Badge sales (S Mortimer), flower sales and sponsored events.
We joined ‘My School Lottery’ for staff, parents and friends to take part in.
We claimed gift aid from HMRC and have received funds from Easy fundraising, Pay Pal Giving and Amazon Smile.
We received donations/ grants from the following: Fonnerau Road Persimmon Lovewell Blake Bailey Thomas Bunbury Fund Various Masons groups Northumbrian Water Tesco/Groundworks Low Road Run Coastground Making a difference locally Pearce and Kemp Donations in lieu EDP tokens Rotary Club Waveney Social Club Little Magic Stars Village Fryer Black Sheep Cricket Sailors Home England has Talent
Expenditure this year included class donations for Christmas gifts for each learner,
a further payment from the grants received for the playground and card readers to use at events.

ACCOUNTANTS' REPORT
TO WARREN ASSOCIATION TRUST
It is our responsibility to prepare, the annexed financial statements from the accounting records maintained and from information and explanations supplied to ourselves.
Our examination also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the records and seeking explanations from the Treasurer concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently we do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
In connection with our examination, no matter has come to our attention that did not have an adequate explanation;
- 1 Which gives us any reasonable cause to believe that the accounts do not give a true and fair view of the income and expenditure as at 31 July 2022.
