PROVIDED THAT IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR DISCRETION THE TRUSTEES SHALL ALWAYS HAVE REGARD TO THE FACT THAT THE SAID CHURCH IS NOT ONLY A PLACE OF WORSHIP FOR MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND BUT BEING A STATUTORILY LISTED BUILDING ALSO FORMS PART OF THE ARCHTECTURAL HERITAGE OF ENGLAND AND IS THUS CAPABLE OF BEING APPRECIATED BY ALL LOCAL INHABITANTS AND VISITORS REGARDLESS OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.
