b. Volunteers
The chariiy is managed and administered by volunteers.
c. Review of activiti8s and future plans
In planning ihe activities for the year, the Trustees have ¢onsidered the Charity Commission's guidance on public
benefit. The Trust has continued its policy. as lar as reasonably pra¢ti¢al. of distributing income received each
month to Ihe appropriate organisations in the month following receipt. This year, as in previous years, claims to
recover income tax on gifts made under Giff Aid were made to 5 April. The resulting amount was accrued in thè
financial statements and the distribution made in the following year. The Trust will continue with this policy
during the following year and has no plans to significantly deviate from its regular aciivities.
d. Financial review
Overall, total income durlng the year was £705,974 compared with P827.914 in the previous year. The higher

the church house projects.

the going concern basis in preparinE the financi81 statements. Furrher details regardingthe 8doption of the going
concern basis can be lound in the Accounting Policies.
f. Reserves poLi¢y
Funds are 'restricted' when they are given for a specific purpose. These funds are generally distributed in the
financial year. Unresirlcted funds ¢onstituie the 'free' reserves and there were no balances available as at the
year end.
The Trust has no planned unrestrictecj expenditure and so this will not impact the forthcoming obligations of th8
Trust during the ye8r ending 5 April 2026. As already noted, it is the Trust's policy to make grants from Income in
the month following Its receipt. as f8r as it is piacti¢able and consistent with Ihe financial requirements of the
Trust.
As the Trust is managed by volunteers. there are no personnel costs or 1Sat)ilities. There are no contractual
commitments for premises or equipment and the Trust has made no undertakings to SLJpport work other than

Auditors, responsibilities for the audit of the flnan¢lal $t8tements
We have been appointed as auditor un(ler section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 and report in accordance with
regulation5 made under section 154 01 that Act.
Our objectives are to obiain re8s0nable assurance about whether the Iinancial statements as 3 whole are free from
material misstatement. whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an Auditors, Report that includes our opinion.
Reasonable assurance is a high level of assurance. but is not a guarantee that an audit conducted in accordance
with ISAS IUKI will always detect a material misstatement when it exists. Misstatements can arise from fraud or error
and are considered material if, individually or In the aggregate, they could reasonably be expected to influence the
economic decisions ol users t8ken on the basis ol these financial statements.
Irregularities, including fraud. 8re instances of non-compliance with law5 and regulations. We (lesign procedures in
line with our responsibilities. outlined above, to derect mat8rial misstatements In respect ol irregularities, including
fraud. The eKtent io whlch our procedure$ are c8pable of detecting irregularities. includingfraud is detailed below-
the engagement partner ensured that the engagement ieam collectively had the appropriate competence,
capabilities and skills to identify or recognize non-compliance with applicable laws and reEulaiions'.
we identified the laws and regulations applicable to the charity through (fiscussions with dire¢torsand other
management, and from our knowledge and experience,.
we focused on the specific laws and re8u18tions which we considered may have a dir8ci material effect on
the financial statements or operations of the charity.,
we assessed the extent of compliance with the laws 8nd regulations identified above through making
enquiries of management and inspecting legal correspondence where applic8ble', and
identified laws and regLJlations were communicated within the audit team regularly and the te8m remained
alert to instances ot non-compliance throughout the audit.
We assessed the susceptibility of the charity's linancial statements to material misstatement, including obtaining
an undersianding of how fraucl might occur. by=
making enquiries of management 8nd their outsourced provider5 as to wher@ they eonsidered there was
suscepiibility to fraud. their knowledge of actual. suspected and alleged fraucl.. and
considering the internal controls in place to mitigate risks ol fraLJd and non-compliance with laws and
regulaiions.
To address the risk of fraud through management bias and override of controls, we:
performed analytical procedures zo Ideniify any unusual or unexpected relationships and Iransactions-
tested journal entries to identify unusual transactions.,
assessed whether judgements and assumpiions made in determining the accounting estimates were
indicative of potential bias., and
investigated the rationale behind significant or unusual transactions.
In response to the risk ol irregularities and non-compliance with laws and regulations, we designed procedures
which included. butwere not limited to-
agreeing financial statement disclosures to underlying supporting documentation.,
reading the minutes ot meetings of those charged with governance..
enquiring of rnanagement as to actual and potential litigation and claims: and
reviewlng relevant correspondence and legal contra¢ts.

Because of the Inherent limitations of an audit, there is a risk that we will not detect all irregularities, including those
Itading to a materi81 misstatement in the financial statements or non-compliance with regulation. This risk
increases the more that ¢ompliance with a law or regulation is removed from the evenrs and transaclions reflected
in ihe financial staiements. as we will t)e less likely to become aware of instances of non-compli8nce. The risk is also
greater regarding irregularities occurring due to fraud raiher than error. as Iraud involves intentional concealment,
forgery, collusion. omission or misrepresentation.
A further des¢ription of our responsibilities for the audit of the financial statements is located Dn the Finan¢iaL
Reporting CoLJncll's website at.. www.frc.org.uk/auditorsresponsibilities. This description forrns part ol our Auditors,

Use of our report
This report is made solely lo the charitls trustees, as a body, in accordance with Part 4 01 the Charities (Accounts
and Reports) Regulations 2008. Our audit work has been undertaken so that we might state to the charity's trustees
those matters we are required to state to them in an Auditors, Report and for no Oiher purpose. To the fullest extent
permitted by law. we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity and its trustees. as a
