Supporting and Working wilh ITisability Organisations
We offer accessible and affordable office accommodaliun to charitable and non-¢haritable organisation5
that support Disabled people The demand lor office space rernains robust posl-COVID and we have
an o¢Gupancy rale ol about 85°/u at the end of the year. The occupancy of the office space by disability
organisations has been fairly constant at 15 organisalions Tenant occupation by duration shows thai
the majority of tenants In 202412025 had been In o¢¢upation for more than two years. and nearly trNo-
third5 had been occupation for more than five year5.
Lambeth Accord has regularly offered work experience placement opportunities to Disabled people
some of which have led to paid employrnent We have workèd with Slalus Employment, South London
and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and other local voluntsry organi5ation5 These opportunities help
people prepare lor the world of work.
Lambelh Accord has a positive action procurer&ienl policy, to purchase goods and seThices Irorn local
disability organisalions. During thi5 year Lambeth Accord has continued lo work cltssely with Carpel
Cleaning Care.
2024 marked the 40th anniversary of the charity's founding and It colltinues lo make an important

In the short 10 mecjium team, Lambeth Accord ha5 Started to examine ways to ra15e suffi¢ient funds to
redeveloplrefurb15h the 336 site. In order lo bring the building up to a 5Ultable standard Avison Young
was employed lo produce a scheme which included selling the rear ol the building for flats. to 3cI as an
enabling development for Improvements to the rest ol the buildin9 However, the result ol this exercise
showed Ihal this was not a viable approach.
Following this Avison Young was asked to provide a c05ted maintenance plan programmed over 3 ten
year period. Lambeth Accord Is now exploring otherways to fund these repairs together wilh expansion
of 1ts office contenl.
