any charitable purpose for the benefit of
the community and in particular:
(al To provide voluntary help, as

ecclesiastical parish of Monken

without distinction of sex or of
political, religious or other
grounds.

Transporting mainly older clients to
hospitsl, doctor. dentist, optician,
shopping etc. Befriending. Gardening.
Outings. We have 200 clients on our
list.

Achievements and Performance
SORP reference
The two part-time co-ordinators have
arranged transport, carried out by
volunteers, to take older and isolat8d
residents of the area of benefit to
various medical appointments. In
addition, trips were made to collect
pensions, prescriptions and shopping
either for, or wlth, cllents. Wo have 7
volunteers who drive for us. A total of
650 trips were organised.
7 gardens were kept tldy, with a few
visits per garden. This work is no
longer funded by Barnet Council butwe
contlnue to provide the service and use
1 contractor and 3 volunteers.
We have 59 clients who have asked for
befriending visits and there are 25
volunteers who visit on a regular basis.
