**arranged transport, carried out by**
**volunteers, to take older and isolated**
**residents of the area of benefit to various**
**medical appointments. In addition, trips**
**were made to collect pensions,**
**prescriptions and shopping either for, or**
**with, clients. We have 7 volunteers who**
**drive for us. A total of 618 trips were**
**organised.**
**7 gardens were kept tidy, with a few visits**
**per garden. This work is no longer**
**funded by Barnet Council but we**
**continue to provide the service and use 1**
**contractor and 3 volunteers.**
**We have 69 clients who have asked for**
**befriending visits and there are 23**
