The new non-competitive class for our ex-competition gymnasts and enthusiastic older members still love the sport and just want to enjoy gymnastics witbout the pressuTe of competitions and continues to be very populaT. Consequently, we See the older teetLagers still working and enjoying their sport of gynmcs. We continue to involve Work Experience activities in conjunction with the local schools whieh is as popular as ever and another activity that has been successful in bringing young people into the sport as coaches and giving them a little insight into work ethics. Activities l. Girls Artistic G astics The Girls groups Temain the biggest group of children attending the club from Recreational, Beginners and Interniediates, through to our top competitors. 2.Bo s Artistic mnastics At the moment the boys section remains quite small, but we have seen not only success with our top competitive performers, but also success and more development with our Progressive and Intennediate boys groups. 4. PTe-school Unforttmately. although we hope to re-start our pre-school sessions. the cost of running the facility does not make it fea8ible to start the session again at the Moment. However, it is still our intention to offer the pre-school sessions as soon as possible. 5 Coachin Our enthusiastic coaches continue to attend coaching clinics and bigher-level coaching COUTses to fiutber their knowledge and to help our members to continue to develop and erkjoy the sport. Some of our young coaches have beerA able to cornmence the first nllin levels of coaching online which has been essential to keep the ¢oa¢hes involved with their own personal development and progress. Plus, one member of staff bas achieved his Level 4 awar<L and another is attending her Level 3 awaTd COUT5es when they are available. Financial R¢ ort The accounts show an excess of income for the year of £5,507 compared to an excess of income of £9,960 the previous year. During the year the club ran th¢ popular E&steT and Summer School training events during the school holidays which raised £6,840. Fortunately. our in-howe award scheme brought in £4,946 and Club competition £4,594. This report is made solely to the charity's trustees, as a body, in accordance with section 145 of the Charities Act 2011. Our work has been undertaken so that we might stale to the charity's trustees those matters we are required to slate to them in this Teport and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity and the charity's trustees as a body, for my work, for this report, or for the opinions we have formed. Responslbilities and basis of report As the trustees of the charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of Ihe Charities Act 2011 I'the Act'l. We report in respect of our examination of the charity's financial statements carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out our examination we have followed all the 8pplicable directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llb) of the Act.
