Report of the trustees For the year ended 31st December 2024

The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2024. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1.

Structure, governance and management

World vision for Christ is a registered charity with 3 trustees making up the management committee.

Objectives and activities

The objective of the organisation is to promote the Christian faith. This includes: Radio, crusades, church planting. Printing and distribution of Christian literature, Audio & DVD, and the support of Christian missionaries. Regular church meetings are held on Sundays 11am, Tuesdays 8pm, Thursdays 7.30pm and Saturdays 7.30 PM every la Saturday of the month. Children’s Club is on Wednesdays 7pm.

Achievements and performance

The Assemblies of World Vision for Christ are still active in their communities and please to report that they are able to spread out support to many other Christian charities and good causes. For a number of years Paragon Chapel have held t annual Coffee Morning for MacMillan, which of course involves the neighbours near the church.

Wednesday Special Children’s Club is now in its 54th Year of bringing youngsters together from the immediate area and beyond. This year we have seen new children arriving with most of them becoming regular members. As some of them co from further afield, members of the church have committed to giving lifts to these children. Thankfully we can report that a number of our young people are staying on, and so our teens group is also growing. Our regular staff are able to give valu help and advice as these young people navigate the teenage years.

The Radio Ministry is also growing through our radio station. Listenership is up and more Gospel programmes have been added. Through the natural course of life, we have lost valuable members of our long standing congregation, however young people are stepping up and with their joint knowledge and energy we are thankful that they can ’step in’. Of course our Assemblies hold other meetings throughout the week and the church doors are open for those looking for some ‘peace and quiet’ and a listening ear.

Financial review

Total income for the year was £104,785 and total expenditure was £102,124.
