The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2023. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1.

Structure, governance and management

World vision for Christ is a registered charity with 3 trustees making up the management committee.

Objectives and activities

The objective of the organisation is to promote the Christian faith. This includes: Radio, crusades, church planting. Printing and distribution of Christian literature, Audio & DVD, and the support of Christian missionaries. Regular church meetings are held on Sundays 11am, Tuesdays 8pm, Thursdays 7.30pm and Saturdays 7.30 PM every last Saturday of the month. Children’s Club is on Wednesdays 7pm.

Achievements and performance

Looking back to 2023 we thank God for sustaining us through some challenging times. Of course the biggest was the home calling of Dr Albert Chambers the founder, pioneer and visionary of World Vision for Christ.

Our Assemblies have continued to serve the local communities, the wider community and of course supporting our regular church members. Children’s meetings continue, as does our radio ministry, the internet interest in the church meetings continues to grow. 2023 saw the start of “Warm Hub”. An opportunity for local people to ‘pop in’ to church to be warm, to socialise and generally feel safe for a few hours two days each week. 2023 also saw the start of ‘Mothers & Toddlers’ group, every Wednesday morning during school term time.

World Vision for Christ is also pleased to be able to financially help a number of other Christian ministries and good causes.

Financial review

Total income for the year was £122,688 and total expenditure was £124,502.
