The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2022. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1.
Structure, governance and management
World vision for Christ is a registered charity with 3 trustees making up the management committee.
Objectives and activities
The objective of the organisation is to promote the Christian faith. This includes: Radio, crusades, church planting. Printing and distribution of Christian literature, Audio & DVD, and the support of Christian missionaries. Regular church meetings are held on Sundays 11am, Tuesdays 8pm, Thursdays 7.30pm and Saturdays 7.30 PM every last Saturday of the month. Children’s Club is on Wednesdays 7pm.
Achievements and performance
The ministry and church community of World Vision for Christ continues to serve the local community and wider church community. During 2022 the weekly children work continued with an increase in numbers. Paragon Chapel held it’s annual MacMillan coffee morning and the contribution was more than in previous years. The church body was able to support other specialised works, i.e. Salvation Army Homeless appeal. Ukraine relief and organisations involved in disaster relief. It was also a year where we were able to spend time bringing our London properties up to regulations. Particularly Paragon, although this is still an on going work, however a vital amount of work has been done. We are hoping to complete the work in Paragon during 2023. It has also been a year for developing the younger members of the church, to equip them in their everyday Christian living. Church activities are many and varied as church life should be.
YouTube channels were also developed during the year, with extensive visit to older and those unable to get out.
Financial review
Total income for the year was £176,436 and total expenditure was £168,484
