Thetrusteespresenttheirreportwiththefinancialstatementsofthecharityfortheyearended31December 2020.
ThetrusteeshaveadoptedtheprovisionsofAccountingandReportingbyCharities:Statementof Recommended
PracticeapplicabletocharitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordancewiththeFinancialReporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Theprincipalobjectiveofthecharitythroughoutthecurrentandpreviousyearshasbeentheraisingoffunds to
enabledisadvantagedyoungpeopletoattendChristiancamps,andtoenableadvice,trainingandconsultancyto be
provided for outdoor activity, camp and conference centre leaders in UK and internationally.

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

Thecharityhascontinuedtosupportthosewhohavebeenassessedasmostabletobenefitfromcamps, training
courses and other Christian activities held in an outdoor environment.
Thetrusteesoperatedabursaryfund,administeredbythesecretary,toenableyoungpeopletoparticipate in
beneficialoutdooractivityprogrammes.Activitieswereseverelycurtailedin2020duetotheglobalpandemic. Most
plannedcourse,camps andschoolvisitsdidnot take place.During2020 a totalof 8 (2019:112) grantswere  provided
totalling £565 (2019: £10,721):
CYE events - 2 grants with total value of £30
School visits - 5 grants with total value of £535 (this included one block grant of £255)
These applications are approved by a trustee delegated from the board.
The Secretary of the trust has additionally been able to support the objects of the charity as follows:
- Giving regular management, advisory and fundraising support to CYE Sailing Centre
- Attending & leading sessions at UK Christian Camping International (CCI) conference in January 2020
-VisitstoFrance,supporting,establishingandadvisinganetworkofChristianCampingleaders,andcontributing to
their conference. Travel to other countries was limited by the pandemic.
-NormanDoneyhadcommencedpreparationsforattendanceandcontributionofworkshopsatChristian Camping
InternationalGlobalGatheringto be held in SydneyAustraliain April 2020. In additionhe was delegated responsibility
for awardingscholarshipsto this event from a budgetdelegatedfrom CCI worldwide.This conferencewas cancelled in
March2020duetotravelrestrictionsfollowingtheglobalCovid19pandemic.Mostofthecommunicationin 2020
went online.
-Norman Doney took up the role of interim International Director of CCI worldwide from 1st October 2021.
-He leads plans for five virtual regional conferences in 2021.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

The results for the year are set out in the annexed Statement of Financial Activities.

FUTURE PLANS

Thecharityintendstocontinuetocarryoutitspresentobjectivesfortheforeseeablefutureandlookforwardto the
liftingof restrictions.Future plans within the next three years includevisits to variouscountriesto supportleaders and
organisation of a global conference in 2023.

Recruitment and appointment of new trustees

The charitywas set upwiththreeoriginaltrustees,whichis feltto be a suitablenumbertomanagetheaffairsof the
Charity.Thetrustdeedallowsforaminimumoftwoandamaximumofeighttrustees.Newtrusteesare recruited
fromthecontactbasewhenatrusteeretires.Duetothedeathofatrusteethecharitypresentlyoperateswith two
trustees and a secretary, which is presently felt adequate in terms of the activity of the charity.

Responsibilities and basis of report

AsthecharitytrusteesoftheTrustyouareresponsibleforthepreparationoftheaccountsinaccordancewith the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act').
I reportinrespectof my examinationof theTrust'saccountscarriedoutundersection145of theActandin carrying
out my examinationI have followedall applicableDirectionsgiven by the CharityCommissionundersection 145(5)(b)
of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I havecompletedmyexamination.I confirmthatnomaterialmattershavecometomyattentioninconnection with
the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or

2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or

3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

Thefinancialstatementsof thecharity,whichis a publicbenefitentityunderFRS 102,havebeenprepared in
accordancewiththeCharitiesSORP(FRS102)'AccountingandReportingbyCharities:Statement of
RecommendedPracticeapplicabletocharitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordancewiththe Financial
ReportingStandardapplicablein the UK and Republicof Ireland(FRS 102) (effective1 January2019)', Financial
ReportingStandard102 'The FinancialReportingStandardapplicablein the UK and Republicof Ireland'and the
Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Income

All incomeis recognisedin the Statementof FinancialActivitiesoncethe charityhasentitlementto the funds,
it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.

Expenditure

Liabilitiesarerecognisedasexpenditureassoonasthereisalegalorconstructiveobligationcommitting the
charitytothatexpenditure,itisprobablethatatransferofeconomicbenefitswillberequiredin settlement
andtheamountof theobligationcanbe measuredreliably.Expenditureis accountedforonanaccruals basis
andhas been classifiedunderheadingsthataggregateall costrelatedto the category.Wherecostscannot be
directlyattributedtoparticularheadingstheyhavebeenallocatedtoactivitiesonabasisconsistentwith the
use of resources.
Grants offered subject to conditionswhich have not been met at the year end date are noted as a  commitment
but not accrued as expenditure.

Taxation

The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities.

Fund accounting

Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees.
Restrictedfundscanonlybeusedforparticularrestrictedpurposeswithintheobjectsofthe charity.
Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes.
Furtherexplanationofthenatureandpurposeofeachfundisincludedinthenotestothe financial
statements.

2. TRUSTEES' REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS

There were no trustees'remunerationor other benefitsfor the year ended 31 December 2020 nor for the year
