The Wallace Fields Junior sch￿￿ Parent Teachers Associalion {PTAI is regtstered with the Charities
Comm1$5hon of England and Wale5 and 15 a member of ParentkiDd. The governlng document is a
constitution. The charity is constituted lry an assockl(m. Trustees are elther agreed at the AGM, or
c(kopted at the committee mtetiw.
The PTA consists of a Chairperson. a Treasurer. a Secretsry. the Head Texher. Deputy Head Teacher
and parents and urers of chlldren attendiNd Wallxe Fiel<b Junior khool.
Commlttee meetlw are held about once every months. The Head Teacher or Deputy Head
Tea¢her are InNited to attend the meetiws. The Chair invites parents to attend the PTA rneetings in
each school bulletin, as a reminder that they are fully welcome to ¢￿Tre along to the meelings and
help in any vAythey can with the PTA
SulFcornmittees may be formed by the cornmittee to ￿rk on specific eventslactivities and will
report back to the committee, for example the Christma5 and Summer fairs.
The vfA aims to make all of its acti¥ities accessible to all children and parentslcarers in the school.
The trurtees declare that they have throughout their activitses had regard to the guidance issued bv
the charity comrnlsslon on public benefft and safeguarding.

Race Ni8ht and a Famity Circus resuliing in equal profft for each school.
The wfA hdds an annual barbeque in July (celebra￿On Evenln81 where parents/carer$ h•Ye the
chance to look at their chlldren's work and spe•k with the teachers. New p•rents/carers and thelr
children from Year 2 for the September int•ke are also invited •l(xw to get to know the PTA and
other parents already at the school. New parentslcarers are VArmly Y￿korned to join the PT
The Comrnitee of the PTA regularly update parentslcarers in the school weekly bulletin of monies
raised from events. and updating on forthcomi￿ events and what monies will be spent on.
Income and Expendlture
The total income before expense5 (Includi￿ frorn events. easyfundra1s1￿ matched fundi￿ gift aid
and interest from the bank accounts) for the financial year was £25,010.60. This breaks down into
income from events wh￿h came to £24.220.41. and incorne from e•sy fundraisi1￿ matched fundi
gift aid, interest and donations came to £790.19. No gift aid was claimed on donations in this period.
Expendlture from events totalled £9.719.02 and general IryA expenditure {including insurance,
equipment, refunds and payments to the infant school) caffle to £477.26. Payments to the school
carne to £35.458.43 as detsiled in the accounts for Providi￿ facilities and equipment. £15.(MX) was

speciftcally fundrnised, over a 3 year period, for an an weather pitch to alleviate the pressure on safe
play spaces in ￿￿t weather. Totsl expenditure therefore came to £46,153.26. Money was used from
the Uoyds Bank account to cover all the payments to the Sch￿1.
The loss after expenses £21,142.66.

and was prevlously a treasurer to WFJS PTA She is a qualified accountsnt. and has not been p•ld for
her reporL

Parent Teachers Association ("WFJS PTA")
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the v￿Js PTA (the
Trust) for the year end&J 31 ￿￿ust 2024.
Responsibilitles and basis of rnport
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are resFK>nsible for the preparntion of the
8ccounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of tt)e Charits'es Act 2011 ('the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of th8 Trusfs accounts carried ￿t under
section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my ex8minats)n I have followed all
the applicable DirectKJns given by the Chanty ComrnissiL￿ under seth'on 145(5)(b) of
the Act.

I have completed my examin8tion. I confimi that no materi81 matter3 have come to
my attention in connection with the examinab'on giving me cause to believe that in
any material r8sp8Ct:

2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
